***PLAYER PLACEMENT UPDATE***

New in 2023, all 6-9 year olds registering for Major Machine Pitch or 8/9 Kid Pitch, will take part in evaluations together in order to better place players at their appropriate level of play and to continue to increase the competitiveness of the Kid Pitch level.   9 year olds will automatically be placed at the Kid Pitch level, regardless of evaluation score, while 7 & 8 year olds will be placed at either the Major Machine Pitch or Kid Pitch level based off of their evaluation scores.   6 year olds who register for Major Machine Pitch will be placed into that level. Kids have more fun and develop their baseball skills more readily when they play at an appropriate level.

8 year olds who qualify for Kid Pitch based off of their evaluation, will automatically be placed in Kid Pitch.

7 year olds who qualify for Kid Pitch based off of their evaluation, will still need parent approval before they are moved up a level.  There are many things to consider when deciding to move a 7 year old up to play with what has historically been 8-9 year olds, such as emotional readiness of getting out more frequently, facing live pitching, faster pace of play, not having school aged friends on their team and simply playing with kids 1-2 years older than them.

***REMINDER***

Requests for players will be limited to 5/6 Minor Machine league only, with a limit of 2 requests.

For those who volunteer as Coaches or Assistant Coaches, requests will be accepted to be placed with other coaching volunteers. Please note that while requests will be strongly considered, they cannot be guaranteed.
